Padlocks are all over on the pedestrian bridge called Makartsteg above the river Salzach in Salzburg. From a fair distance I thought that what I see is nothing else but a wrought iron bridge with nice flower motives or something like that. One could hardly find place for new lovelocks, declaring his eternal devotion to his loved one. In 2,5 years thousands of padlocks were attached to the bride, all having a personal stroy. The blue ones on the latest pictures might come from a fieldtrip of a schoolclass ... A couple more years and the bridge will be called the Bridge of Love ...
How does Mozart come into the picture? Salzburg is his hometown.
