"The big knit"

This year almost 200.000 little caps were made by volunteers and put on the Innocent smoothies within the frames of "The big knit" (Das grosse Stricken). By buying one Innocent smoothie with a cap, you have to pay extra and this money goes then to the Pro Senectute, an organization to support seniors.

I was surprised that not only women but men also like to knit - check out some of them here.

The MFO Park (Maschinenfabrik Oerlikon - machine factory Oerlikon) is a unique place, a green island in the middle of an industrial area, near the train station. Worth visiting.
